Abstract:V diplomski nalogi proučujemo vedenje potrošnikov oziroma kupcev ekoloških prehrambenih in drugih izdelkov.

Title:DEMAND AND CUSTOMER BEHAVIOR IN BUYING ORGANIC FOOD PRODUCTS
Abstract:In this study we research the behavior of consumers of organic food and other products. We would like to find out, how often certain groups of consumers are buying organic products and what are the main factors for purchasing. Is buying of organic products just a fashion trend or is there something more? There are many providers of organic food and other products – from organic farms and markets to wide selection of online shops. We would like to know, where consumers tend to buy more and which of the providers of organic products are trusted the most. The theoretical part presents some fundamentals of demand and behavior of the consumers and presents the supply and demand for organic products in Slovenia. Below we present the characteristics of organic products – which products we know and what laws and certificates should be familiar to consumers. We have done a survey in which we study the behavior of consumers of organic products and try to determine, where consumers most frequently buy organic products, how familiar are with the certificates and labels and whether there are differences in the frequency of shopping according to sex.
