Abstract:POVZETEK Danes je konkurenčnost podjetja v veliki meri odvisna od tega, kako zaposleni v podjetju razumejo in obvladujejo pojem logistične dejavnosti kot pomembne komponente proizvodnega procesa. Logistika je ključnega pomena za podjetje tudi v njeni najbolj osnovni obliki - prenosu samega materiala in informacij zlasti med samimi fazami procesa. V današnjem času ima veliko podjetij težave s konkurenčnostjo prav zaradi prevelikih stroškov samega procesa. Z izboljšanjem sistema logistike pa se da proces proizvodnje skrajšati in s tem tudi dejansko znižati strošek dela ter posledično poceniti izdelek. Podjetje Prevent TRO d.o.o. ima sicer dolgoletno tradicijo, malokdo v njem pa sploh razmišlja o raznih izboljšavah, s katerimi bi se dalo logistične procese v navedenem podjetju racionalizirati. Diplomsko delo prikazuje nastanek izdelka - industrijskega noža skozi vse faze proizvodnega procesa. Na osnovi analize proizvodnega procesa smo izpostavili (definirali) logistične probleme, ki se v procesu redno pojavljajo zaradi neustreznih premikov materiala, pa tudi informacij in ustrezne rešitve navedenih problemov. Po uvodu je v teoretičnih osnovah naloge definiran pojem logistike in njen vpliv na proizvodni proces. Tretje poglavje predstavlja podjetje, njegove dejavnosti in analizira slabosti obstoječega sistema. V četrtem poglavju je prikazana ena od možnih rešitev za racionalizacijo proizvodnje, v petem poglavju pa se z izračuni prikažeta ocena teh izboljšav ter pogoji za njihovo izvedbo.

Title:OPTIMIZATION OF LOGISTIC PROCESSES IN THE PRODUCTION OF INDUSTRIAL KNIVES IN THE COMPANY PREVENT TRO D.O.O.
Abstract:SUMMARY: Nowadays competitiveness of a company is dependent on how its employees understand and master the concept of logistics as an important component of the manufacturing process. Logistics are a key issue for companies even on the most basic level - transporting of materials and information, especially during the manufacturing process itself. A lot of companies struggle to stay competitive because of the high costs of the manufacturing. Through improving the Logistics, time and cost of manufacture can be reduced and therefore the end product can be offered for a better price. The Company TRO d.o.o has a long manufacturing tradition, but, to date, not a lot of effort has been invested in improving and rationalizing logistics procedures. Dissertation will present the phases of the manufacturing process of a product – the industrial lathe tool. Through the analysis of the process we will outline the logistical problems which regularly accrue and are the consequence of unsuitable transportation, movement of materials or information, and present suitable solutions to these problems. After the foreword, we present in the theoretical basics of the paper the definition of the term logistics and its influence on the manufacturing process. Third chapter is a presentation of the company and its activities, analyzing the weakness of the current system. In the fourth chapter we present one of the possible solutions for the rationalization of production, and in the fifth chapter through calculations we try to present the evaluation of suggested solutions and terms for their successful execution.
