Abstract:Diplomsko delo predstavlja osveščenost žensk o brisu materničnega vratu – test PAP, državni program ZORA, osnovne in dodatne preiskave za ugotavljanje raka na materničnem vratu in zdravstveno vzgojo diplomirane medicinske sestre. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen bris PAP, ki zajema definicijo, dejavnike tveganja za nastanek raka na materničnem vratu, metode za zgodnje odkrivanje raka na materničnem vratu, klasifikacijo citoloških preiskav materničnega vratu ter postopke pri nenormalnem izvidu testa PAP. Predstavljena sta tudi državni program ZORA in zdravstvena vzgoja žensk v Zdravstvenem domu Murska Sobota. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, s katero smo želeli ugotoviti osveščenost žensk o pomenu testa PAP. Raziskava je bila opravljena v Zdravstvenem domu Murska Sobota. Anketiranje je bilo izvedeno v mesecu decembru 2011. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da večina žensk hodi na redne ginekološke preglede in da so vse anketiranke seznanjene s terminom test PAP.

Title:WOMEN`S AWARENESS ABOUT CERVICAL SMEAR - TEST PAP
Abstract:My diploma work presents the awareness of women about cervical smear - a PAP test, the state program ZORA, the basic and additional testing to detect cervical cancer screening and health education of a graduated nurse. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part presents a PAP smear, which includes definition, risk factors for cervical cancer, methods for early detection of cervical cancer, classification of cervical cytology tests and procedures by abnormal PAP test diagnosis. The state program ZORA and health education of women in Health Centre Murska Sobota are presented as well. In the empirical part of the thesis the study results are presented. We wanted to find out the awareness of women about the importance of the PAP test. The survey was performed in the Health Centre Murska Sobota. The questionnaire was done in December 2011. The results showed that most women go to regular gynecological examinations and that all the respondents are familiar with the term PAP test.
