Abstract:Vseživljenjsko izobraževanje je danes način življenja in ga razumemo kot učenje skozi celo življenje, torej od rojstva do konca življenja. Ohranja nas miselno aktivne, pozitivne in zadovoljne.

Title:MOTIVATION FOR A LIFELONG E-EDUCATION IN LJUBLJANA AREA
Abstract:Lifelong learning is now a way of life and it is viewed as learning throughout the lives, that is, from birth until the end of life. Lifelong learning keeps us mentally active, positive and happy. In this thesis I tried to identify obstacles, respondents from the Ljubljana area encountered with education, what are their views on education itself, what motivates them most in decision on education and are they familiar with computer-supported education, known as e-education. The thesis consists of two parts, namely the theoretical and research work. In the theoretical part, I give emphasis on the history and concept related to adult education, the importance of lifelong learning in general and the advantages and disadvantages posed by lifelong e-learning. In research work I conducted a research analysis and explained the obtained survey results. The research was conducted using the survey method, with the help of prepared questionnaires that were sent via e-mail and social network Facebook. I have come to a conclusion that people are considering learning as an essential part of life and are ready to learn throughout the lives to get meaningful knowledge and experience we all need for working and lives in general. Most intriguing things, despite all the advantages offered by e-education, spatial and temporal independence, self-paced learning, speed and efficiency, most people still do not decide for it. Because they do not know all the advantages of the latter, they prefer the combination of traditional methods and e-education.
