Abstract:V diplomskem delu je zajeta obravnava o pomenu ekološkega prehranjevanja otrok v vrtcih.

Title:THE IMPORTANCE OF ORGANIC FOOD FOR CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTENS
Abstract:In my diploma paper I deal with the importance of organic food for children in kindergartens. The importance of organic agriculture is described, but also the meaning of the benefits of organic food, which is the basis for healthy life. I present a healthy way of living which is the basis for the child’s development and the introduction of organic food into kindergartens as a “green” public ordering. In the empirical part of my diploma paper data is included which have been collected with the questionnaire which was answered by the parents of the children in the municipality Ljutomer. With the research I wanted to find out whether the parents are acquainted with organic food, if they use it at home and if they know what food children eat in kindergartens. I found out that parents are not acquainted enough with organic food that is being offered to their children in kindergartens. We can assume that parents trust the experienced staff in kindergartens and that is why they do not worry about it. On the other hand they are aware of the importance of organic food for the healthy way of living because they buy it themselves and use it at home.
