Title:Idejni model uporabe informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije pri pouku geografije

Abstract:Glavni namen magistrske naloge z naslovom Idejni model uporabe informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije pri pouku geografije je bil pripraviti model uporabe IKT pri pouku geografije, ki temelji na izobraževalnih ciljih sodobnega pouka geografije, prenovljenih učnih načrtih za geografijo in na izobraževalnih smernicah v 21. stoletju. Izhodišče je predstavljala empirična raziskava, izvedena med 95 osnovno- in srednješolskimi učitelji geografije v Sloveniji, ki je potrdila hipotezo naloge. Ta je predvidevala, da v Sloveniji učitelji geografije pri svojem delu in vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu sicer uporabljajo sodobno informacijsko tehnologijo, vendar jih več kot tretjina meni, da so o možnostih njene aplikacije za poučevanje in učenje geografije premalo seznanjeni in vodeni in bi bil zato idejni model uporabe IKT pri pouku geografije dobrodošel in uporaben. Model uporabe IKT pri pouku geografije je nov raziskovalni prispevek na področju didaktike geografije. Učiteljem je pomemben predvsem zaradi predstavljenih načinov vključevanja sodobne tehnologije v pouk geografije in potrebne prilagoditve metod in oblik poučevanja.

Title:Outline model of ICT use in geography class
Abstract:Main purpose of this master’s thesis Outline model of ICT use in geography class was to prepare a model of use of ICT in geography class that bases on educational goals of modern geography, renewed curricula for geography and educational guidelines of the 21st century. The basis was an empirical study among 95 primary and secondary school teachers in Slovenia that confirmed the hypothesis of this master's thesis. It suggested that in Slovenia geography teachers in their teaching practice and in educational approaches use modern information technology, but more than one third believe that they are not well informed about it and guided through the possibilities of its application and therefore an outline model of ICT use in geography class would be welcome and useful. The model of ICT use in geography class is a new research contribution in the field of didactics of geography. It is a valuable help for teachers as it presents different ways of how to implement modern technology into geography class and the needed adaptation of the teaching forms and methods.
