Abstract:
Vloga informacijskih sistemov v poslovnem, industrijskem ali gospodarskem svetu je danes zelo pomembna. Proizvodni informacijski sistemi, ki so opisani v diplomskem delu, so postali neizogiben del modernih proizvodnih podjetij, saj s podporo le-teh prispevamo k boljšemu upravljanju poslovnih sistemov. Proizvodni informacijski sistemi nam omogočajo hitrejše, cenejše in bolj kakovostno opravljanje dejavnosti poslovnega sistema ter s tem cenejše in bolj kakovostne produkte, ki lahko konkurirajo na globalnem trgu. Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti del avtomatiziranega proizvodnega sistema, ki je podprt s proizvodnim informacijskim sistemom. Predstavljeni so razlogi za uvedbo modernizacije proizvodnega sistema, načrtovanje in implementacija informacijskega sistema, prav tako pa standardi in tehnologije, ki smo jih pri tem uporabili.

Title:
AUTOMATION OF PRODUCTION USING INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Abstract:
Information systems in business, industry or economics are very important today. Production information systems, which are described in diploma paper, became an inevitable part of modern manufacturing companies. With the support of these systems, we contribute to better management of business systems. Production information systems enable us faster, cheaper and quality performance of activities of business system and with this we can get cheaper and better quality products, which can compete on the global market. The purpose of my diploma paper is to present one part of automated production system, which is supported by production information system. Reasons for introduction of modernization of production system, reasons for planning and implementation of information system and also standards and technologies, which we used, are presented in this paper.
