Abstract:
Diplomsko delo je osredotočeno na rak materničnega vratu (RMV). Na začetku je predstavljena definicija bolezni, sledijo osnovni epidemiološki podatki in etiologija nastanka bolezni. V nadaljevanju so opisani znaki in simptomi RMV, načela razvrstitve in osnovne diagnostične metode (PAP test, triažni test HPV). Predstavljeni so tudi različni načini zdravljenja RMV, cepljenje proti HPV ter različni dejavniki tveganja za nastanek RMV (npr. okužba s HPV, spolni odnosi v zgodnjih mladostnih letih, večje število porodov ipd.). Na koncu je opisan tudi program ZORA in zdravstveno vzgojno delo medicinske sestre pri preventivni dejavnosti.

Title:
Awareness of Cervical Cancer Among Female Students
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on cervical cancer (CC). First we present the definition of the disease, followed by basic epidemiological data and etiology of the onset of the disease. Later on we describe the signs and the symptoms of CC, classification principles and basic diagnostic methods (pap test, HPV test). We also describe different ways of treating CC, HPV vaccination and various risk factors that cause CC (e.g. HPV infection, sexual intercourse at an early age, a large number of childbirths etc.). In the end we also discuss the program ZORA and the health educational tasks of a nurse for preventive activity.
