Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava uporabo računalniško podprtega načrtovanja in vodenja proizvodnje v podjetju Metal Ravne. Ker je danes obstoj podjetja na trgu v veliki meri odvisen od učinkovitega načrtovanja in vodenja proizvodnje, je vlaganje v stalen razvoj in posodabljanje informacijskih sistemov v podjetju edina pravilna filozofija podjetja. Učinkovit sistem za načrtovanje in vodenje proizvodnje ne pomeni več zgolj konkurenčne prednosti na trgu, ampak je nujen že za samo preživetje. V diplomskem delu se bom osredotočil na težave, ki so pestile podjetje Metal Ravne pred vpeljavo novega informacijskega sistema, s pomočjo ekranskih slik pa bom naredil tudi pregled osnovnih področij, ki jih sistem za načrtovanje in vodenje proizvodnje v podjetju zajema. Na podlagi tega bom predstavil vzroke za odločitev podjetja, da vpelje nov sistem, ter prikazal njegovo uporabnost.

Title:COMPUTER AIDED PRODUCTION PLANNING AND CONTROL IN METAL RAVNE COMPANY
Abstract:The diploma thesis talks about the use of the computer-supported planning and control of production in the Metal Ravne company. Today, the existence of the company depends very much on effective planning and control of the production. That is why the only correct philosophy of the company is to invest in constant development and the upgrade of the information systems in the company. Effective system for planning and control the production doesn't mean just competitive advantage on the market, but is also necessary for the survival. In my diploma thesis, I will concentrate on the problems that Metal Ravne had before they got the introduction of the new information system. Also, with the help of the screen photos, I am going to review the basic areas that are included in the system for planning and control the production of the company. Based on that, I will present the reasons of the company for the decision to take on new system and I will also show it's usefulness.
