Abstract:Raziskava obravnava transport biološkega materiala v Splošni bolnišnici Celje, ki ga vršijo bolničarji, zaposleni v centralno transportni enoti. Transport bioloških vzorcev izvajajo v okviru rednih obhodov, kjer vzorce pobirajo na 20 bolnišničnih oddelkih in jih nato prenašajo v laboratorij. Tekom izvajanja rednih obhodov, bolničarji določene oddelke obiskujejo po nepotrebnem, saj jim mnogokrat na teh oddelkih ni potrebno pobrati niti enega biološkega vzorca. Nasprotno k temu, pa v redne obhode pobiranja niso uvrščeni nekateri oddelki, kjer je ponavadi potrebno pobrati vsaj en biološki vzorec. Vsi ti neuvrščeni oddelki pa centralno transportno enoto obveščajo o odvzemih vzorcev preko telefonskih klicev, kar povzroča dodatno formiranje izrednih poti in s tem višanje pretočnega časa posameznih opravil.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF THE HEURISTIC ALGORITHM IN THE PROCESS OF THE BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL ACQUISITION SCHEDULING
Abstract:Research deals with a transport of biological material in General hospital Celje. The process is carried out by nurses, who make part of the central dispatch team. Transportation of samples is done by means of regular tours, where samples are collected from 20 different departments and then transported to the laboratory. The problem, which arises is that during the acquisition process, nurses have to visit several departments no matter whether there are biological samples ready to take or there is non. In addition, it happens that some departments, with at least one biological sample so be picked up, are not put on the schedule. Because of that additional unplanned tours have to be undertaken. Main goal of our work is to develop a decision support system for optimal scheduling of hospital departments in the process of acquisition of biological samples. The decision support system is tested on a data set obtained from the hospital regular practice. It is shown that, with reasonable scheduling of hospital departments in the regular tours can be reduced the formation of additional unplanned routes. In addition that the collected samples arrive to the laboratory timely can be achieved and also that samples maintain all the characteristics important for the analysis.
