Abstract:
Evropska unija pojmuje trajnostno rast kot konkurenčno in zeleno gospodarstvo, ki gospodarno izkorišča vire. Za zagotovitev trajnostne rasti je potreben prehod v konkurenčno nizkoogljično gospodarstvo, ki varuje okolje, podpira razvoj zelenih tehnologij, krepi poslovno okolje podjetij ter uvaja učinkovita in pametna elektroenergetska omrežja. Evropska unija bo to dosegla z dvema vodilnima pobudama: Učinkovita uporaba virov in Industrijska politika za globalizacijsko dobo, ter s pomočjo držav članic. Slovenija je v svojem nacionalnim reformnem programu predstavila svoje prednostne naloge za dosego ciljev trajnostne rasti. Prednostne naloge se nanašajo predvsem na izgradnjo prometne in energetske infrastrukture ter spodbujanje konkurenčnega nizkoogljičnega gospodarstva.

ACHIEVING TARGETS OF SUSTAINABLE GROWTH IN THE EU AND SLOVENIA
Abstract:
European Union described sustainable growth as resource efficient, greener and more competitive economy. To ensure sustainable growth significant transition to a more competitive low - carbon economy needs to be meet, to protect the environment, support the development of green technologies, harnessing EU – scale networks and introducing efficient smart electricity grids. European union will meet the targets through two flagship initiatives: Resources-efficient Europe and An industrial policy for the globalisation era and with the help of Member States. Slovenia with its national reform programm presented her priorities. Which are mainly relate to promotion of competitive low – carbon economy and establishing transport and energy infrastructure.
