Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava sladkorno bolezen in preprečevanje kroničnih zapletov pri pacientu s sladkorno boleznijo. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena sladkorna bolezen, njena razvrstitev, moţni načini zdravljenja in zapleti pri sladkorni bolezni. Poseben poudarek je namenjen preprečevanju akutnih in predvsem kroničnih zapletov sladkorne bolezni, pomenu samokontrole in zdravstveni vzgoji bolnika s sladkorno boleznijo. V empiričnem delu diplomske naloge je predstavljena študija primera bolnika s kroničnimi zapleti sladkorne bolezni. Bolnika s sladkorno boleznijo smo obravnavali po procesni metodi dela po modelu Marjory Gordon. Informacije o bolnikovem zdravstvenem stanju in njegovi bolezni smo pridobili s pomočjo pogovora (intervjuja), opazovanja bolnika ter iz njegove medicinske dokumentacije, nato smo na osnovi ugotovljenih potreb po zdravstveni negi izpostavili negovalne diagnoze in naredili načrt zdravstvene nege. Ugotovili smo, da so najpogostejši negovalni problemi, ki se pojavljajo pri pacientu s sladkorno boleznijo: neučinkovito obvladovanje terapevtskih predpisov; neuravnovešena prehrana, več kakor telo potrebuje; aktivnost, pomanjkanje telesne aktivnosti; samonega, zmanjšana zmoţnost za nego nog; spanje, motnje spanja; zaznavanje, nekompenzirana izguba zaznavanja (vid); spomin, nepopoln in obvladovanje, neučinkovito.

Title:
Chronic complications of diabetes
Abstract:
The study deals with diabetes and ways of preventing complications that may occur with diabetics. Diabetes, its classification, manners of treatment and possible complications will be presented in the theoretical part. Emphasis will be on how to prevent acute and chronic complications of the disease, the importance of self-control and health education of a diabetic. A study of a case where a patient has chronic difficulties of diabetes is presented in the empirical section of this paper. The method used for the close examination of the patient's condition was based on a model by Marjory Gordon. We gathered information of the patient’s health status and his disease with the help of communication (interview), observation and from his medical records. Afterwards, we highlighted nursing diagnoses and prepared a nursing care plan, based on the already established needs of health care. We discovered that the most common nursing problems which can occur with a diabetic patient are: ineffective knowledge about therapeutic regulations; malnutrition-more than the body needs; lack of physical activity; self-care, reduced capability for foot care; sleep disorders; uncompensated loss of perception (sight); incomplete memory and ineffective control.
