Abstract:Modifikacija avtobusa z inteligentnim sistemom – ACC služi kot pomoč vozniku za zagotavljanje varnostne razdalje in s tem zmanjšanju števila prometnih nesreč. Ob upoštevanju, da je polovica vseh nesreč komercialnih vozil povzročena zaradi naleta enega v zadek drugega vozila, lahko trdim, da z vgradnjo ACC izredno izboljšamo vozilo in odločilno pripomoremo k varnosti na cesti. ACC je prvi korak v smeri vzdolžnega nadzora nad vozilom, je elektronski sistem zaznavanja prostora [27], ki opozori voznika in aktivno posreduje. ACC sistem minimalizira odzivni čas pri zaviranju vozila glede na premikajoča se vozila saj sistem reagira hitreje kot voznik. Sistem uporablja razne podatke o prometu na cesti, ki jih prejema od radar senzorja in drugih senzorjev, ki so nameščeni na vozilu. Te podatke ACC sistem sam procesira in zagotavlja varnostno razdaljo za hitrosti večje od 25 km/h. ACC sistem s pomočjo senzorjev razpoznava situacijo v prometu. ACC sistem tudi obvladuje informacije iz motorja [5], transmisije, sistema za kontrolo stabilnosti in drugih sistemov. ACC lahko razpozna ali se vozila premikajo, nadgrajen sistem AEB pa tudi ali stojijo. AEB lahko torej vozil povsem ustavi brez posredovanja voznika. Za ACC sem navedel ponudnike, uporabnike in nadgradnjo sistema, pogoje in koncept delovanja, algoritem krmiljenja, informacije za voznika, programski komunikacijski tok podatkov ter usposabljanje in izpopolnjevanje izvajalcev diagnosticiranja in servisiranja v Tovarni vozil Maribor. Iz proizvodnega programa v naši tovarni sem izbral družino vozil B3, na katero je omogočeno vgraditi ACC. Predstavil sem podjetje, tehnične podatke vozila in navedel direktive Evropske skupnosti, povezane s sistemom za zagotavljanje varnostne razdalje, ki opredeljujejo zaviranje in krmiljenje vozil. Pri izdelavi podiplomske naloge sem uporabil deskriptivno metodo s študijem domače in tuje literature. Metodologija vsebuje podrobnosti o uporabljenih sredstvih in postopkih, ki jih je mogoče ponoviti in dobiti podobne rezultate. Splošno znane standardne metode (npr. statistične) niso podrobno opisane. Ostale metode so opisane v splošno dostopnih virih, ki so citirani in opisana samo njihova načela. Za zbiranje podatkov in ugotavljanje obstoječega stanja sem kot instrument raziskovanja uporabil spletne strani uporabnikov in proizvajalcev.

Title:BUS MODIFICATION BY A SYSTEM FOR ENSURING SAFETY DISTANCE
Abstract:Modification of the bus with the intelligent system ACC serves as an additional aid to the driver in order to provide a safety distance and consequently minimizes the occurrence of car accidents. Having regard to the fact that a half of all commercial vehicle accidents is caused due to the rush of one vehicle into the tail of another vehicle, it can be guaranteed that mounting ACC extremely improves a vehicle and that we decisively add to the safety on road. ACC is the first step towards the lateral control of a vehicle being the elektronic system recognition that space recognition that in forms the driver and actively intervenes [27] . ACC system minimizes the response time when braking the vehicle in regard to the moving vehicles surrounding it because the system reacts much quicker than the driver. It uses different information about the traffic that are being sent by the radar sensor and other sensors mounted on the vehicle, to measure the distance between vehicles. ACC alone processes this data and provides a safety distance for speed over 25 km / h. ACC system therefore recognizes the situation in traffic with the aid of different sensors, but it also controls the data from the engine [5], transmission, system for stability control and other systems. It is also able to recognize whether the vehicles are moving, while the upgraded system AEB can further recognize if the vehicles are at a stop. AEB can then stop the vehicle partially or entirely. A list will be added including providers, users and an upgrade of the ACC system as well as its conditions and working concept, algorithm of steering, data helpful to the driver, program dataflow, training and possible improvements of the diagnostic and service performers in the Tovarna vozil Maribor. I have chosen the family of vehicles B3 from the production program of our factory that are compatible with the ACC system. In addition, a presentation of the company, technical data of the vehicle and specification of the directives of the European community related to the system for providing a safety distance that define the braking and steering of vehicles will be carried out. The descriptive method will be used during the writing of this postgraduate thesis with the study of domestic and foreign literature. The methodology contains the details about the used means and procedures that can be repeated in order to retrieve similar results. Generally accepted standard methods (for instance statistical) are not described with precision. All other methods are described in the publicly available sources that are quoted, while only their principles are being described. Web pages of users and manufacturers will be used as an instrument of research in order to collect data and assess the present status.
