Abstract:Specialistično delo obravnava problematiko poznavanja razpoložljive kapacitete specifičnih delovnih mest v podjetju Carrera-Optyl, d.o.o, Ormož v primerjavi s potrebo na mikro- in makronivoju.

Title:ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION PROCESS' PERFORMANCE WITH FLOW METHOD
Abstract:This specialistic work deals with the issue of knowledge about available capacities at specific jobs in the company Carrera-Optyl, Ltd., Ormož compared with the need on micro and macro level. The capacity of the process is determined by bottlenecks which the company Carrera-Optyl is very well aware of. To identify the short-term and also long-term process capability on easier, faster and first of all more effective comparative way, a unified approach based on different input data has started. So the idea of the flow method was developed, which covers the entire process as a pipe, where the narrowest part means the possible flow of the products. The core of specialistic work shows the application of the rule on both levels, and especially the way of obtaining data for both levels. It is also shown the practical application at launching one-week plan and use of this method for mid-term and long-term manual planning and analyzing the available capacities, primarily for those work places that represent bottlenecks in the process. The starting point is a catalog with capacities of work places and assumption that all data entering into a capacity simulation are transparent. Transparency of data and information in real time, are the prerequisite for the correctness of the results and decisions.
