Abstract:
V diplomskem delu obravnavamo uporabo alternativnih goriv iz trdnih odpadkov, njihov pozitiven vpliv na okolje ter primerjavo s fosilnimi gorivi. S pomočjo zakonodaje, pregledom virov odpadkov primernih za alternativna goriva iz odpadkov in statističnimi podatki smo ocenili možnost izdelave alternativnih goriv iz odpadkov na osnovi snovnega toka v Sloveniji. S pomočjo preračunov smo ugotovili, da z uporabo alternativnih goriv iz odpadkov lahko dostojno zamenjamo fosilna goriva, pozitivno vplivamo na zmanjševanje toplogrednih plinov ter omejimo odlaganje odpadkov.

Title:
THE USE OF ALTERNATIVE FUELS FROM SOLID WASTE
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the use of alternative fuels from solid waste, their positive impact on the environment and the comparison with fossil fuels. Through reviewing legislation, statistical data and the sources of waste suitable for alternative fuels from waste, we estimated the possibility of producing alternative fuels from waste on the basis of material flow in Slovenia. With the help of calculations we found out that the use of alternative fuels from waste can decently replace fossil fuels, have a positive influence on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and decrease the disposal of waste.
