Keywords:Procesna tehnika, mešalna tehnika, mešala, dimenzioniranje mešal, gibanje tekočin, moč, vrtilna hitrost, dispergiranje

Title:MIXING TECHNOLOGY IN THEORY AND PRACTICE
Abstract:The context of the thesis is based on studying the function of optimal selection of mixers for a certain type of mixing under certain conditions of mixing. The graduation describes the basic types of mixers, types of currents regarding motion and accelration courses, heterogeneous fluid systems and how to choose appropirate mixers. On the basis of measurments from the practical example, the power needed to run the mixer with and without aeration has been determined and other alternatives for air dispersion have been studied.
Keywords:Process engineering, mixing technology, mixers, dimensioning of mixers, fluid dynamics, power, rotational speed
