Abstract:	Skrb za varnost in zdravje delavcev je eden izmed zelo pomembnih dejavnikov v podjetju, saj brez tega neposredno ogrožamo delavce, njihovo zdravje in v nekaterih primerih celo njihovo življenje. Med najbolj tvegane dejavnosti sodi delo na višini, ki ga opravljajo predvsem v gradbeni in krovski dejavnosti in pri katerem lahko zelo hitro pride do nezgode zaradi neustrezne delovne opreme, nepravilne uporabe oziroma neustrezne osebne varovalne opreme in pomanjkanja usposabljanja delavcev za delo, ki ga opravljajo. Zato je za podjetje zelo pomembno, da se zaveda pomena ustvarjanja varnega okolja za delavce in druge sodelujoče v delovnem procesu. Zagotavljanje varnosti ni samo naloga podjetja, ampak tudi vseh zaposlenih, saj morajo le-ti dosledno upoštevati predpise in navodila za varno izvajanje delovnih nalog.

Title:	THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK FOR EMPLOYEES IN CONSTRUCTION AND ROOFING COMPANIES
Abstract:	One of the most important factors in the company is occupational safety and health of workers, because without this we direct threatened workers, their health and even in some cases their lives. The most risky activity is work at height, because can very easily lead to accidents. Mainly is present in construction and roofing business. It is very important for the company that understand the importance of creating a safe environment for workers and other involved in the process. Ensuring the safety is not only businesses but also the all employees, because they should strictly comply with the rules and guidelines for the safe implementation of work assignments.
