Abstract:
Teoretična izhodišča: Hemoroidi so razširjene vene v kanalu zadnjika, ki se kažejo kot zatekle blazinice tkiva v stenah zadnjika, lahko se izbočijo tudi navzven. Je neprijetna kronična bolezen, ki je ozdravljiva, vendar vpliva na kakovost pacientovega življenja. Diagnosticiranje bolezni je zelo pomembno, saj so simptomi hemoroidov podobni resnejšemu obolenju, kot je rak debelega črevesja in danke. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je predstaviti obravnavo pacientov s hemoroidalno boleznijo. Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti, ali se pacienti svoje bolezni sramujejo in odlašajo z obiskom pri zdravniku ter ali so ti pacienti spremenili način življenja ob pojavu bolezni. Metode: V diplomskem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela. Teoretična izhodišča smo predstavili s pomočjo analize domače in tuje literature. Za zbiranje podatkov smo kot raziskovalni inštrument uporabili anketni vprašalnik. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 50 pacientov s hemoroidi, obravnavanih v Zdravilišču Rogaška. Rezultati in diskusije: Podatki, ki smo jih pridobili z raziskavo kažejo, da se pacienti svoje bolezni ne sramujejo, vendar še vedno manjši del pacientov odlaša z obiskom pri zdravniku, kar povečuje tveganje za napredovanje bolezni. Ugotovili smo, da so vsi pacienti spremenili način življenja ob pojavu hemoroidov.

Title:
TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH HEMORRHOIDAL DISEASE
Abstract:
Theoretical bases: Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins around the anus or in the lower rectum. There are two types of Hemorrhoids, external and internal. This unpleasant chronic but curable disease affects quality of patient's life. Diagnosis is very important because a rectal exam may be performed to detect possible rectal tumors, polyps, an enlarged prostate, or abscesses. Aim: To introduce treatment of patients with a Hemorrhoidal Disease. In research we wanted to determine if patients are ashamed of their condition, whether the disease is the reason they are delaying doctor visit and also if patients changed their way of life as the disease occurred. Methods: Descriptive work method was used. Theoretical bases were presented with domestic and foreign literature analysis. Data was collected by personal interviews. 50 patients with Hemorrhoids from Medical Center Rogaška participated in the research. Results and discussions: Data gained show that patients are not ashamed of their disease but minority is still delaying a visit at the Doctor's which increases the risk for disease progression. We determined that all patients changed the way of life as Hemorrhoids occurred.
