Abstract:
Glasbeni instrumenti, zlasti godala, imajo dele, ki so izdelani iz mnogoterih ločnatih površin. Digitalizacija vseh teh površin se s klasičnimi 3D modelirniki ne da hitro izdelati, zato smo v našem primeru uporabili numerično kopiranje in reverzni inženiring. Posneta(skenirana) površina se je tako v digitalni obliki lahko hitro prilagodila zahtevam za poznejšo integracijo v CNC in CAM. 3D skeniranje z reverznim inženiringom pa bo pri nekaterih delih potrebno nadgraditi tudi s cilindrično obdelavo skeniranja in 4- do 5-osno CAD obdelavo v prihodnosti. V nalogi je predstavljen problem spajanja krivih površin, njihova analiza in rešitve z numeričnim kopiranjem in digitalizacijo. Tehnologija pohitri in olajša pripravo modela in poceni proizvodne stroške.

3D-scanning and reverse engineering for musical instrument manufacturing
Abstract:
Musical instruments, especially spring instruments, have many wooden parts that are made from curved forms and surfaces. Also skilled CAD constructor with advanced 3D modeller can hardly create those forms, surfaces and models. With such technology problems is only useful to use 3D scanning method and reverse engineering. Some surface with our construction problems has been solved with reversing of original model in a very short time. The system of cylindrical 3D scanning and reverse engineering will in future probably be used with integration with 4-5 axis milling on router. In this diploma author introduces problems with digital surface stitching and solving those problems with numerical 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
