Abstract:
Diplomsko delo se prične z uvodom, nadaljuje se z začetki CNC tehnologije. V nadaljevanju sledi opis pomembnih dejavnikov, ki ključno vplivajo na gradnjo preciznega CNC stroja. V osrednjem delu je opisan postopek samogradnje gradnje stroja, od zamisli pa vse do izdelave. Zaključek je izdelava testnega izdelka z izračunom rezalnih parametrov in programiranja NC kode.

Technological concept of CNC machine for engraving wood and plastics
Abstract:
This diploma paper presents the procedure for manufacturing a CNC machine intended for engraving on wood and plastic. The introduction of the diploma paper describes the history of the CNC machine’s development. It continues by describing individual structural components of these machines, as well as important features, which are crucial in constructing a precise CNC machine. The central part describes the DIY construction of a CNC machine in great detail, from idea to construction. In the conclusion of this diploma paper I present the test product construction with a calculation of cutting parameters and NC code programming.
