Abstract:
Lutke so že v zgodovini gledališke dejavnosti imele in še vedno imajo pomembno vlogo. Diplomsko delo z naslovom Lutke in lutkarstvo na Slovenskem predstavlja kratek, strnjen pregled razvoja lutk in lutkovne dejavnosti na Slovenskem, pri čemer se je za razumevanje stanja na domačih tleh potrebno ozreti tudi nazaj, v zgodovino in na ozemlje izven slovenskih meja. Diplomsko delo na podlagi deskriptivne metode uvodoma opisuje in razlaga pojme, pomembne za interpretacijo posameznih elementov, ki kot celota tvorijo lutkovno predstavo (lutka, lutkarstvo, lutkovni prostor, govor na lutkovnem odru, mizanscena, besedila v lutkovnem gledališču), v nadaljevanju pa prikazuje položaj lutkarstva kot posebne gledališke zvrsti skozi različna kulturnozgodovinska obdobja. V nadaljnjih poglavjih diplomsko delo klasificira in primerja razvoj slovenske in evropske lutkovne dejavnosti nekoč in danes. Glede na bogato tradicijo, ki jo lutkarstvo ima in na skromnost literature, ki o njem priča, predstavlja diplomsko delo le kamenček v mozaiku, ki bi ga vsekakor bilo smiselno in potrebno dopolniti, da bi še naprej navduševal sedanje, pa tudi prihodnje generacije.

Puppets and puppetry on the Slovene territory
Abstract:
Puppets have had and still have an important role in the history of theatrical activity. This diploma work entitled The puppets and puppetry in Slovenia is a short, concise overview of puppets and puppetry activities development in Slovenia. In order to understand the status quo in homeland we also need to look back in history and evaluate this position in the territory outside the Slovenian border. On the basis of descriptive method the diploma initially describes and explains concepts relevant for the interpretation of individual elements, which as a whole constitute a puppet show (puppets, puppetry, puppet space, puppetry stage speech, arrangement of actors on stage and determination of their movement, text in puppet theatre), and then shows the position of puppetry as a special theatrical genre through different cultural historical periods. In subsequent chapters the study classifies and compares the development of Slovenian and European puppet activities then and now. Given the rich tradition of puppetry has and taking into consideration the paucity of literature that testifies about that this diploma presents a small piece in the mosaic. This piece in the mosaic would certainly be useful and necessary to complement so that it will enthuse present as well as future generations.
