Obravnava vrste lutk in njihovo izdelavo.

Title:DIFFERENT PUPPETS DANCE DIFFERENTLY
Abstract:The thesis titled Different puppets dance differently deals with the subject of dance and puppetry education as part of preschool education. This thesis is theoretical. It discusses types of puppets and their making, introducing stick puppets, string puppets, hand puppets, finger puppets, flat puppets, mimic puppets and masks. What follows is a section on music and dance and the connection between these two. Furthermore, the thesis defines types of dance activities and some characteristics of dance education. It also outlines the incentives of movement, with particular attention to puppet as one of such incentives. Moreover, emotions which are expressed with movement and trough puppets are also mentioned, whereby a special chapter is dedicated to planning in kindergarten. The last chapter of the thesis offers some preparation ideas for education in kindergarten, which can be used by pre-school teachers as an aid in planning dance activities where a puppet is used as an incentive for movement or dance. All this considered, the objective of this thesis is to encourage teachers even more to practice dance activities with children. Children like to move – they can be motivated by movement or music alone, but we can also use different incentives as e.g. puppets. Different puppets can trigger different movement with children and this thesis proves this also.
