Abstract:V diplomskem delu bomo za praktičen primer uvedbe črtne kode v skladiščno poslovanje uporabili podjetje Livar, d. d., ki se ukvarja z livarsko in s kovinsko predelovalno industrijo. V začetku diplomskega dela so predstavljene teoretične osnove, na katere smo se opirali pri izdelavi končnega izdelka. Nato smo nadaljevali z opisom obstoječega stanja skladišč in skladiščnega poslovanja podjetja Livar, d. d. v proizvodni enoti Črnomelj. S kritično analizo smo opredelili vzroke za neučinkovito skladiščno poslovanje in tudi nakazali možne izboljšave. V nadaljevanju diplomskega dela so zbrane vse predlagane rešitve in njihovi podrobnejši opisi. Sledi načrt uvedbe črtne kode v skladiščno poslovanje in podroben izračun investicije. Predstavljena je tudi vsa potrebna strojna oprema in informacijska podpora za izvedbo predlagane rešitve. Na koncu diplomskega dela smo na podlagi stroškov investicije in potencialnih prihrankov rešitev ocenili kot pozitivno.

Title:Introduction of the bar code for the support of the warehouse management process of a company Livar d.d.
Abstract:In diploma thesis we are going to present the practical introduction of the bar code in warehouse management process for the company Livar d.d., which is working in the field of foundry and metal industry. At the beginning of the diploma thesis, the theoretical basics are presented, upon which we relied during the making of the finished product. Then we continued with description of the current state of warehouses and warehouse management of the company Livar d.d. in the production unit in Črnomelj. Reasons for inefficient warehouse management were identified with critical analysis and also possible improvements were indicated. All suggested solutions and their detailed descriptions are gathered further on in the diploma thesis. On the following pages one can find a plan of introduction of the bar code in the warehouse management and a detailed calculation of such an investment. All the necessary hardware and software support for the suggested solution is also presented Basing on investment costs and potential savings we evaluated the investments as positive in the conclusion of the diploma thesis.
