Abstract:
Igralništvo kot dejavnost, ki se ukvarja z nudenjem zabave in sprostitve za ljudi v okviru njihovega prostega časa, se je razmahnilo tudi v Sloveniji. Eden večjih koncesionarjev na območju Slovenije je podjetje Hit d.d. s svojimi hčerinskimi podjetji. Z gradnjo igralnic in igralniško—zabaviščnih centrov se je že pred leti začel kazati njihov vpliv na lokalno in širšo družbeno skupnost. Večje igralnice v regiji namreč pomembno vplivajo na njen razvoj predvsem zaradi koncesijskih dajatev. Denar od koncesijskih dajatev občine uporabijo za razvoj turistične infrastrukture in prebivalcem prijaznejše okolje. Davek od posebnih iger na srečo, ki se steka v državni proračun, pa je namenjen razvoju in promociji turizma. Igralnica v regiji bi naj tako pomembno prispevala k razvoju regije in k njeni turistični prepoznavnosti. V nalogi smo predstavili teoretične osnove igralniškega turizma, podali teoretična izhodišča za management in managerje v turističnih organizacijah in podali značilnosti destinacijskega managementa. Nato smo predstavili igralnico Mond v Šentilju ter vključevanje v okolje, v katerem posluje. Na koncu smo podali ugotovitve, ki se navezujejo na podjetje in okolje, v katerem posluje.

GAMING INDUSTRY AND GAMING MANAGEMENT - A CASE OF GAMING COMPANY HIT ŠENTILJ, D.D.
Abstract:
Gaming industry is engaged in offering entertainment and relaxation for people in their free time. One of the major dealers in the territory of Slovenia is the gaming company Hit d.d., with its subsidiaries. Casinos have already started years ago to show their impact on local and wider social communities. Major casinos have an important influence on region development and its tourist reputation mainly due to concession charges which are used to develop tourism infrastructure and people-friendly environment. Taxes from gambling flowing into the state budget are intended to develop and promote tourism. In this seminar paper we present the theoretical foundations of gaming tourism, the theoretical foundations for management in the tourism industry and present characteristics of destination management. We also present the gaming company Hit Šentilj, d.d. and involvement in the environment in which it operates. At the end, we made conclusions that pertain to the company and its environment.
