V diplomskem najprej predstavimo proces izdelave betonskih cevi. Temu sledi predstavitev metodologije modeliranja in simulacije. V naslednjem poglavju obravnavamo obstoječi model v ProModelu in nato razvoj modela v Flexsimu.

Title:REENGINEERING OF SIMULATION MODEL OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESS
Abstract:In our dissertation, we discuss the process of restoring a simulation model for the production of concrete pipes, which was carried out by means of 2-D ProModel simulation software. ProModel is obsolete simulation software with certain deficiencies, e.g. a user-unfriendly interface, existent difficulties in establishing connection with an exterior database. Due to these weaknesses, we were impelled to transfer an already existing simulation model to more contemporary 3D software, i.e. Flexsim with the purpose of ameliorating the pedagogical processing and rending a clearer presentation of a simulation and its subsequent results. An overwhelming advantage of Flexism is in its ability to enable the development of 3-D models. Namely, we can demonstrate the process of production, alongside any other procedure, in three dimensions or apparent reality, which further enhances the effectiveness of presenting the process that we wanted to modulate. In this dissertation, we first present the process of concrete pipes creation. Then, we proceed with presenting the methodology of modelling and simulation. In the next chapter, the focus of our research is an analysis of an existing model by dint of ProModel, and then the development of the model in Flexsim. Moreover, we proceed with an in-depth analysis of results procured with a simulation, and finally we present the conclusion.
