Abstract:Zdravstvena vzgoja je ključ do uspeha zdravljenja sladkorne bolezni. Namen zdravstvene vzgoje je, da bolniki sprejmejo svojo bolezen kot realnost in del svojega življenja, da spoznajo določena dejstva o svoji bolezni ter pridobijo potrebne veščine za uspešno obvladovanje bolezni. Z dobro zdravstveno vzgojo bolnik doseže primerno znanje, prepreči nastanek zapletov sladkorne bolezni in pridobi občutek samostojnosti, varnosti in samozavesti. Diplomsko delo je empiričnega značaja in je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega ter raziskovalnega dela. V raziskovalnem delu smo ugotovili, da zdravstveno osebje daje dovolj informacij in podpore bolniku pri sladkorni bolezni ter da se bolniki zavedajo, da slabo urejena sladkorna bolezen vpliva na njihovo življenje, in povzroči kronične zaplete. Bolniki dobijo veliko podpore tudi od svoje družine, saj jim stojijo ob strani in jim pomagajo pri premagovanju težav pri sladkorni bolezni.

Title:Health Education of diabetes
Abstract:Health education is the key to the success of diabetes treatment. The purpose of medical education is that patients accept their illness as a reality and part of his life to get to know certain facts about their disease and to acquire the necessary skills to successfully manage the disease. With good health education patient reaches the appropriate knowledge to prevent the emergence of complications of diabetes and acquire a sense of independence, security and confidence. The thesis is empirical in nature and consists of theory and research, the research work we found that the medical staff provides sufficient information and support to patients with diabetes and that patients are aware that poorly regulated diabetes affects their lives, and causes of chronic complications. Patients also receive much support from his family as they stand on the side and help them overcome problems in diabetes.
