Abstract:
Življenjski tempo nam nalaga neprestane in hitre spremembe tako v organizaciji kakor v okolju, v katerem živimo. Tempo nam narekuje potrebe po čim hitrejšem pretoku informacij ter učinkovitejših in konkurenčnih proizvodnih sistemih. Glavni vir konkurenčnih prednosti predstavljajo podatki in informacije ter njihovo učinkovito obvladovanje in upravljanje. Zato igra dandanes informatika pomembno vlogo v sodobnih organizacijah in predstavlja enega od glavnih dejavnikov zagotavljanja konkurenčnih prednosti organizacije oziroma podjetja.

Title:
INFORMATION SYSTEM SERVICE MANAGEMENT
Abstract:
The speed of life demands constant and fast changes in organisations and the surrounding we live in. This way of life dictates a rapid flow of information and an effective competitive production system. The main source of competitive priorities represents data and information and the effective management and mastering of them. Therefore information science plays an important role in today’s organisations and companies. To assure a constant competitive priority of the company it was of a great importance to analyze, organize and manage a process of planning and managing the public affair. The whole process needed a new information system and a useful manual how to handle it. The previous information system was incomplete and old. The system for leading the public service was not integrated into the existing system of the company. The information system was planned with the knowledge of production management, production organization and preparations, work studies and many others. After applying the information system for leading public services the main qualities of it are the following: a better flow of information, a control over the system, higher efficiency and lower expenses. On behalf of the result mentioned above I can assure that the investments into this information system were of the right decision.
