Namen oziroma cilji teoretičnega diplomskega dela so bili: opredeliti gledališko-plesno umetnost, vlogo plesalca in igralca v gledaliških stvaritvah in pravljico kot književno delo.

Title:DANCE DRAMATIZATION AS AN ENRICHMENT ACTIVITY - A CASE STUDY
Abstract:The respective thesis entitled Dramatisation in Dance as Enrichment Activity – A Case Study comprises a theoretical and an empirical part. The objectives or the goals of the theoretical part of the thesis were to define theatrical dance art, the role of a dancer and an actor in theatrical pieces, fairy-tale as a literary work. The objective of the empirical part of the thesis was to follow the course of educational work with emphasis on dance education as part of executing dance dramatisation of fairytale Frog is a Hero, author Max Velthuijs. Our research study included 24 children between five and six years of age from the Mehurčki unit of the Oton Župančič kindergarten in Maribor. According to hypotheses set beforehand, it has been assumed that cooperation among various participants in dance as enrichment activity would be successful in view of attaining the set goals. Using a case study, we researched certain aspects of the behaviour and the experience of individuals as well as the entire group while preparing for dance dramatisation. The results of participants based on the set goals have shown a positive outcome, as the goals were achieved entirely. Also, cooperation among different participants in dance as enrichment activity was successful in light of reaching the set objectives. Children included in the research group managed to grasp dance dramatisation to a degree that enabled them to perform in front of audience other than their own group.
