Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo opisali glavne značilnosti ogrodja DWR in tehnike Comet. Glavna karakteristika ogrodja DWR je olajšati razvoj spletnih aplikacij, ki temeljijo na tehniki AJAX. V navezi tega ogrodja s tehniko Comet je moč ustvarjati spletne aplikacije, pri katerih se podatki osvežujejo z minimalno zakasnitvijo. Pri predstavitvi tehnike Come, smo razložili, v kakšnem razmerju je z ogrodjem DWR, in kakšne so lastnosti te metode. Opisali smo tudi preostale tehnike principa reverse AJAX, in preučili, zakaj je tehnika Comet boljša od ostalih. Raziskali smo tudi področja uporabe tehnike Comet. V praktičnem delu smo najprej s pomočjo ogrodja DWR in tehnike Comet izdelali spletno aplikacijo. Nato smo raziskali, na kakšen način lahko izboljšamo zmogljivost principa Comet. Pri tem smo si pomagali z objektom Continuation in strežnikom Jetty. V nadaljevanju smo razložili, kakšne alternative za izgradnjo spletnih aplikacij z minimalno zakasnitvijo osveževanja podatkov še obstajajo poleg tehnike Comet. Na koncu smo izvedli še stresni test aplikacije, ki deluje po principu Comet. Test smo izvedli na strežniku Jetty, in rezultate analizirali.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE WEB APPLICATIONS PRESENTATION LOGIC USING DIFFERENT FRAMEWORKS
Abstract:
In the diploma paper, we described the main characteristics of the DWR framework and the Comet technique. The main characteristic of the DWR framework is to make the development of web applications that are based on the AJAX technique easier. In connection of this framework to the Comet technique, we can create web applications where data is updated with a minimum delay. In presentation of the Comet technique, we explained in what proportion it is to the DWR framework and what the characteristics of this method are. We described other techniques of the reverse AJAX principle and we studied why the Comet technique is better than the other ones. We also researched the fields of Comet technique use. In the practical part of the diploma, we made an application with the help of DWR framework and the Comet technique. Afterwards, we researched the ways of improving the capacity of the Comet principle. Our help in this process were Continuation structure and Jetty server. Then we presented the alternatives to the Comet technique in the construction of web applications with a minimum delay of data updating. At the end, we carried out a stress test of the application that works on the Comet principle. The test was carried out on the Jetty server and the results were analysed.
