Abstract:
Prvo poglavje naloge predstavlja uvod s predstavitvijo naročnika. V njem so zastavljene raziskovalne hipoteze, cilji raziskave in metode dela.

Title:
ANALYSIS OF SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGIES FOR UPGRADING GEOGRAFIC INFORMATIVE SYSTEM
Abstract:
This master’s degree diploma is an analysis of different software development methodologies, for upgrading a geographical informative system (GIS). The objective was to optimize the process of integration of the ArcFM UT software product. The implementation project is divided to three main areas – data migration, software implementation and software development, each of them is analyzed separately. For the implementation project, a new model is defined according to the requirements of the nature and the object of the process. The first part of the diploma is an introduction. The research hypothesis, work methods and objectives are defined in this section. Theoretical basis and involved parties are described in the second section. In the main part, all three different areas of the implantation are analyzed. At the end of the diploma we can find the effect evaluation and suggestions for the future development. The research hypothesis, that the waterfall model is not suitable for our project type, was approved. We suggested which methods to use to correct the waterfall model disadvantages.
