Abstract:
V letih 2006 in 2007 je bil na kolerabici v rastlinjaku in na poskusnem polju Fakultete za kmetijstvo Univerze v Mariboru preizkušen vpliv različnih stimulatorjev rasti (Agrovit, Coralit, HB 101, Vita). Pri vzgoji sadik so bili uporabljeni posamezni stimulatorji rasti in njihove kombinacije.

Title:
GROWTH STIMULATORS IN ORGANIC PRODUCTION OF KOHLRABI
Abstract:
At the Faculty of Agriculture of Maribor University, in the years 2006 and 2007 we carried out greenhouse and field trials with the aim to investigate the effects of growth stimulators (Agrovit, Coralit, HB 101, Vita) on the organic production of kohlrabi. For the growth of seedlings we used individual growth stimulators and their combinations. Before sowing, seeds were soaked by HB 101, Agrovit was added to the potting mix, whereas Coralit was sprayed to foliage. The tested growth stimulators had a statistically significant effect on some morphological traits of seedlings (height, weight, number of leaves and root weight) and on some morphological traits of kohlrabi plants (location of leaves, plant height, width and weight, length of stalk, number of leaves, diameter and weight of enlarged stem) and on kohlrabi total yield, as well as effects on vitamin C content and the content of nitrates in the plant sap. Vita growth stimulator used in field trials and sprayed to foliage did not statistically significantly affect the kohlrabi yield and morphological traits. In the first and second evaluation of seedlings, HB 101, Agrovit and their combinations had the most significant effect on the growth and development of seedlings. HB 101 affected morphological traits of plants most significantly and also resulted in the highest market yield (11,3 t/ha) and the highest total yield (14,4 t/ha).
