Veliko pozornost posveča novi tehnologiji in zadovoljstvu strank. Ob poglobljeni raziskavi in opazovanju sem opazila, da v podjetju manjka predvsem kolektivnega ozračja in občutka povezanosti. Zato je zadovoljstvo zaposlenih nizko in to slabo vpliva na ugled podjetja.

Title:INNOVATION IN A FIRM
Abstract:The first link in the chain of the development of an innovation is an idea having a potential to become one. Innovation relates to all the areas happening in the business life of an organisation. This includes a new or an improved product, a procedure or a service for the consumer, new marketing approaches, mastering new raw material sources and introducing new organizational solutions, etc; in sum, this includes everything that brings better business results, more interesting work and better conditions, etc, to the company in short- or long-term. Indeed, innovations do not begin on their own; they are a result of a conscious and intentional search. We can begin changing into innovation an invention that we choose and obtain the necessary knowledge related to it. Here, a company faces various obstacles to be recognized and surmounted because otherwise damage can be caused. Every innovation becomes obsolete in time and it becomes a traditional product. Thus a company is forced to innovate to remain in the market. Innovation must be spoken of as permanent activity bringing a company various benefits like satisfying new customers’ needs, expanding products and services and decreasing emissions and costs, etc. Companies use various techniques of creative thinking for the development of ideas by means of which they solve problems and search for solutions, etc, through various phases. When companies do not deem it reasonable to develop new knowledge, there is the possibility to buy it. One can legally protect the newly created innovation because they have authorial rights over it. The beneficiary gains material and moral rights. The rights protected by the law as industrial property are the following: patent, licence, model and geographical indication. In Slovenia there are also support centres offering various types of help on critical spots on the way of an idea towards the consumer. I have studied the processes of innovation in the Mikrografija, d.o.o., company involved in archiving of electronic data. In their business they meet technological development in the field of archiving that they must follow to be able to operate successfully. They pay a lot of attention to new technologies and to the satisfaction of the customers. I have noticed during thorough research and observation that the company lacks above all a collective environment and the sensation of connectedness. Thus the employees’ satisfaction is low and this has a negative effect on the reputation of the company.
