Abstract:	Cilj raziskave je analizirati ekonomsko upravičenost pridelave in predelave krompirja v pomfrit na domači kmetiji. V ta namen je bil za pridelavo krompirja in predelavo v pomfrit razvit simulacijski model. Rezultati ekonomske analize kažejo, da sta pridelava krompirja (Ke = 1,80) in predelava krompirja v pomfrit (Ke = 1,55) ekonomsko upravičeni. Modelna ocena parametrov finančne smotrnosti investiranja v predelavo krompirja je nadalje pokazala tudi, da je s finančnega vidika po 10 letih in ob predvideni 14 % letni obrestni meri ter ob predpostavki konstatnega letnega denarnega toka, na domači kmetiji investicija predelave krompirja v pomfrit upravičena. Obdobje povratka investicije v predelovalno linijo za pomfrit znaša 5 let, ocenjena vrednost interne stopnje donosnosti pa je zelo visoka (ISD = 28,86 %).

Title:	Economic and financial analysis of production and processing of potatoes
Abstract:	The first objective of the thesis was to analyze the economic feasibility of potato production and its processing into french fries on the farm level. For this purpose, for potato production and processing french fries the simulation model was developed. Analysis indicates that potato production is feasible in the case of analysed farm. For potato (Ke = 1,80) and processing french fries (Ke = 1,55). The model assesment of financial parameters into potato processing investment (under assumption of 10 years of constant annual cash flow and 14% annual interest rate) showed that beside production, also the processing level is financially feasible. Invesment return period on investment in the processing line for french fries is 5 years and, the estimated value, internal rate of return is very high (IRR = 28,86%).
