Abstract:
Magistrsko delo obravnava delovanje elektro-obločne peči v energetskem sistemu Štore Steel d. o. o. Namen magistrskega dela je predstaviti probleme, ki se v praksi med delovanjem elektro-obločne peči pojavljajo, in izdelati rešitve za odpravo le-teh. V nalogi je predstavljen tudi način izbire novega transformatorja obločne peči, katerega lastnosti morajo omogočati tako zanesljivo delovanje kot tudi možnost razvoja podjetja v smislu povečevanja proizvodnje in izboljševanja kvalitete proizvodov.

ELECTRIC ARC FURNACE OPERATION INSIDE ŠTORE STEEL SUPPLY NETWORK
Abstract:
Master's dissertation deals with operation of Electric Arc Furnace in Štore Steel supply system. The dissertation basically studies problems which occur under operation and solutions for solving those problems. The second part of this dissertation represents concept of determining electrical and mechanical characteristics of new furnace transformer. The new transformer design must have long mean time between failure and must fulfil expectations for increasing the productivity.
