Abstract:Avtorica v svojem diplomskem delu z naslovom Nekateri sociološki vidiki predšolskega otroka v splošnoizobraževalni knjižnici predstavlja nekatere sociološke vidike doživljanja predšolskega otroka po prvih obiskih splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice, v koliki meri vplivajo obiski na predšolskega otroka in na njegovo družino ter ali vzgojitelji načrtujejo skupne obiske splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice, kako pogosto jih načrtujejo, katere sociološke vidike opažajo pri otrocih po obisku splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice ter v koliki meri postanejo rutinska navada za družino predšolskega otroka. Za zbiranje podatkov je avtorica uporabila 100 anketnih vprašalnikov za vzgojitelje in starše predšolskih otrok. Petdeset anketnih vprašalnikov je bilo razdeljenih med vzgojitelje, petdeset pa med starše predšolskih otrok. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljeni obiski vrtca in družine v splošnoizobraževalni knjižnici, vrste družin v postmoderni slovenski družbi, vloga knjižnice pri vzgajanju kulturnega kapitala predšolskega otroka ter vpliv vzgojiteljice in njenega dela na predšolskega otroka. Predstavljen je pomen ponudbe knjižnice in pomen ter vpliv branja za predšolskega otroka. Predstavljeno je življenje predšolskega otroka s knjigo, medkulturnost in predšolski otrok ter odrasli kot otrokov vzor. V empiričnem delu na osnovi obdelave odgovorov ter interpretacij avtorica dokazuje pozitiven vpliv nekaterih socioloških vidikov doživljanja predšolskega otroka po prvih obiskih splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice bodisi v spremstvu vzgojiteljic ali staršev. Pri obdelavi podatkov rezultati kažejo, da so vzgojiteljice in starši mnenja, da je za predšolskega otroka zgodnji obisk splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice pomemben dejavnik pojava nekaterih socioloških vidikov. Ugotovitve kažejo, da redni obiski knjižnice niso zgolj potreba posameznika v danem trenutku, temveč rutinska navada družine. Dobljeni rezultati pa kažejo, da so redni obiski splošnoizobraževalne knjižnice pri otroku izboljšali komunikacijo z okolico in vrstniki, intenzivnost vključevanja v družbo z vrstniki in okolico, strpnost do drugačnosti, otroku se bolje razvija občutek do tuje lastnine, izboljša komunikacijo, se pogosteje vključuje v odprte razgovore z odraslimi in otroki ter pogosteje izraža svoja mnenja.

Title:Sociological aspects of a preschool child in general-educational library
Abstract:ABSTRACT In her diploma paper titled Some sociological aspects of a preschool child in general-educational library the author introduces some sociological aspects of a preschool child’s experience after their first visit to the general-educational library, to what degree visits influence a preschool child and their family, and whether educators plan joint visits to the general-educational library, how often they plan them, which sociological aspects are observed on children after the visit to the general-educational library and to what degree the visits become a routine habit to the family of a preschool child. The author used a hundred questionnaires for educators and parents of preschool children to gather data. Half of the questionnaires were distributed among the educators, the other half among the parents of preschool children. The theoretical part presents visits of kindergarten and family to the general-educational library, types of families in post-modern Slovene society, the role of a library in educating cultural capital of a preschool child, and the influence of an educator and their work on a preschool child. The importance of the selection in a library, and the importance and influence of reading to a preschool child is shown. There is also shown life of a preschool child with a book, multiculturalism and a preschool child, and adults as a model to a child. In the empirical part on the basis of processing replies and interpretations the author demonstrates the positive impact of some sociological aspects of a preschool child’s experience after their first visit to the general-educational library, either with the educator or their parents. The results of data processing show both educators and parents believe that to a preschool child an early visit to the general-educational library is an important factor of appearance of some sociological aspects. The findings show that regular visits to the library are not only a need of individual in a given moment, but also a routine habit of the family. The results point out that regular visits to the general-educational library improves child’s communication with their community and peers, the intensity of inclusion in the society with peers and community, and tolerance of difference; the child’s sense of other’s possession is better developed; they improve communication; they more often take part in open conversation with adults and children, and express their opinions.
