Abstract:
Diplomsko delo obravnava urejanje in obdelavo besedil. Poudarek je na vizualnem in logičnem urejanju. Pri vizualnem urejanju so rezultati uporabnikovega zapisa takoj vidni na zaslonu. Pri logičnem urejanju pa rezultati zapisanega niso takoj vidni, ampak je potrebno besedilo s posebnimi prevajalniki prevesti, da dobimo končni izdelek. Zelo pomembna je obdelava besedil, kamor spada tudi tipografija, ki temelji na izgledu besedila in na oblikovanju črk. Seveda je pri pisanju besedil pomembno tudi to, za kakšno vrsto besedila gre. Zahtevnejša je obdelava strokovnih besedil, kamor spadajo tudi matematična besedila, v katerih se uporabljajo razni izrazi za zapis matematičnih definicij, izrekov, enačb, itd.. Pod zahtevnejšo obdelavo spada tudi: štetje črk, štetje besed, zaščita dokumenta, dodajanje komentarjev, uporaba makrov,… . Te možnost nam nudi program Word. Predvsem pa je v diplomski nalogi poudarek na razlikah med najbolj razširjenima programoma za vizualno urejanje Wordom in programskim orodjem za logično urejanje LaTeXom.

EDITING AND WORD PROCESSING
Abstract:
This thesis treatment editing and word processing. The stress is on visual and logical editing. At visual editing the results of user's writing are seen immediately on the screen. At logical editing the results of the writing are not seen immediately and so it is necessary to translate the text whit special translators in order to get the final product. The word processing is very important and it includes also typography based on the look of the text and forming the letters. At writing texts it is important also what type of text is being written. The word processing of professional texts is more demanding. In mathematical texts different expression for writing definitions, theorems and equations are used. Under more demanding word processing belong also: counting of letters, counting of words, protection of document, addition commentaries, use of macros, … . Program Word offers us these options. In this thesis the differences between two most spread program for visual editing Word and program tools for logical editing LaTeX are specially stressed.
