Abstract:
Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz medicinskega in negovalnega dela. Prvi del je medicinski in predstavlja vse o hidrocefalusu; anatomijo, fiziologijo glave ter najpomembnejše diagnostične metode, epidemiologijo, etiologijo, klinično sliko, prognozo ter zdravljenje hidrocefalusa. Drugi del je negovalni in predstavlja jedro diplomskega dela. V njem so predstavljeni negovalni procesi pri bolnikih s hidrocefalusom po operaciji, najpomembnejše negovalne diagnoze z načrtovanimi intervencijami, izvajanje negovalnih intervencij ter vrednotenje doseženih ciljev in dokumentiranje. Diplomsko delo predstavlja tudi pomembnost zdravstvene nege, ki ima pri tovrstnih bolnikih velik pomen tako pri timski obravnavi, kakor tudi pri individualni obravnavi bolnika v bolnišnici, in tudi doma.

Title:
Treatment of patient with hydrocephalus
Abstract:
Diploma consists of medical and nursing part. The first part is medical and contains a short overwiev of 1)anatomy and physiology of head and central nervous system, 2)the most important diagnostic methods for determing hydrocephalus, 3)epidemiology, etiology, clinical status, prognosis and treatment of hydrocephalus. The second part is related to nursing profession and is a core of this work. It shows the nursing process in patients with hydrocephalus after the surgery, the major nursing daignoses and planned interventions, their realization, evaluation of results and documentation of a process. Diploma points out the importance of nursing in team work and in individual treatment of patient with hydrocephalus in hospitals and at home.
