Abstract:Motnje spanja predstavljajo eno izmed pogostejših pridruženih obolenj pri otrocih z motnjo avtističnega spektra (MAS). Bistveno vplivajo na stopnjo izraženosti simptomatike avtizma in lahko slabšajo dnevno funkcioniranje posameznika. Pomanjkanje železa je v raziskavah povezano z nastankom motenj spanja. Namen naše raziskave je bil pregled statusa železa pri pacientih z MAS, njegove povezave s pridruženimi motnjami spanja in vpliva ostalih dejavnikov na motnje spanja.
