Abstract:V zaključnem delu obravnavamo vpliv pandemije COVID-19 na izvajanje prireditev znotraj igralniškega turizma: primer Centra X. Predstavljamo prireditveni turizem kot eno izmed pomembnejših dopolnilnih igralniških storitev.

Title:The impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of events within the activities of gaming tourism: the case of the center X : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študija
Abstract:In the final thesis, we discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on organizing events within casino tourism: the case of Center X. We present event tourism as one of the important complementary casino services. We aimed to explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on events at Center X. By using methods such as description, and semi-structured interviews, we found that the pandemic and related measures posed a significant challenge to Center X, which had to quickly adapt its offerings to mitigate the financial losses during the center's closure. As a result, Center X began incorporating digital tourism into its offerings. We found that digital tourism is an important part of event and casino tourism and has a significant impact on the company's operations now and in the future, where it will become an indispensable part of tourism.
Keywords:events, tourism, gambling, COVID-19, Center X, digital tourism.
