Abstract:Vodje imajo v organizacijah ključno vlogo, saj povezujejo zaposlene z vodstvom in dosegajo cilje podjetja. Introvertirane vodje odlikuje globoko razmišljanje, strateško načrtovanje in sprejemanje premišljenih odločitev. Zaposlene motivirajo z zgledom in individualizirano pozornostjo. Ekstravertirani vodje vodijo odločno, z veliko navdušenja in energije. Svoje ekipe motivirajo z javnim priznanjem in kolektivnim navdušenjem, da ustvarijo delovno okolje z visoko energijo. Bolje uspevajo v energičnih, sodelujočih timskih okoljih ter dajejo prednost verbalni komunikaciji in pogostim interakcijam.

Title:The Influence of Personality on Leadership
Abstract:Leaders play a key role in organizations as they connect employees with leadership and achieve the company's goals. Personality traits play an important role in leadership, shaping behavior, decisions and interactions. Some leaders prefer charismatic or transformational styles, while others prefer more calm, analytical approaches. Personality also affects communication techniques, conflict resolution and motivation. In the diploma thesis, we investigated whether personality affects leadership. In the first part, we defined what management is, management functions, management models and theories, and management styles. We also defined personality, personality traits, areas of personality structure, and introversion and extraversion. We determined the influence of personality on direct managers, communication, motivation and teamwork. In the second part, which is practical, we conducted interviews with several leaders, through which we learned what the influences of their personalities are. We found that introverted and extroverted leaders have unique strengths and approaches, but differ in decision-making, teamwork dynamics, and employee motivation. Introverted leaders focus on internal reflection, while extroverted leaders thrive in collaborative environments. Leaders adapt their leadership styles to match their characteristics, inspiring and empowering their teams. Introverted leaders are characterized by deep thinking, strategic planning and thoughtful decision-making. Employees are motivated by example and individualized attention. However, their reserved nature can limit their ability to encourage large groups. They prefer structured and well-planned teamwork, and are challenged to encourage fast-paced and large-scale groups. Their communication is often through text messages or one-on-one. Extraverted leaders lead decisively with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. They motivate their teams through public recognition and collective enthusiasm to create a high-energy work environment. They thrive better in energetic, collaborative team environments and prefer verbal communication and frequent interactions.
