Title:Kakovostna nastanitev : temelj celovite kakovosti doživetja destinacije

Abstract:Turistične nastanitve (TN) spadajo med temeljne infrastrukturne elemente sekundarne ponudbe v turistični destinaciji (TD). Na njihov fizični izgled, obseg storitev in kakovost vplivajo geografske, socialne, gradbene in ekonomske posebnosti geografskega območja oziroma TD, v katerem se nahajajo. Zaradi navedenih razlik je razumevanje njihove kakovosti težko poenotiti, še težje pa postaviti turistovo doživetje destinacije na isti imenovalec. Namen prispevka je predstaviti, kako lahko razumemo kakovost TN in kako jo presojamo. Izhajamo iz splošnih razsežnosti kakovosti v turizmu in kakovostne TD, ki jih prenesemo v sektor TN, ter iz posebnih standardov kakovosti, oblikovanih izključno za TN. Za boljše razumevanje TN najprej predstavimo njihovo heterogenost in nekatere razvojne smernice v tem podsektorju turizma, ki sooblikujejo njihov razvoj (npr. nove oblike TN, vpliv tehnologije na doživetje v TN, trend trajnostnega poslovanja). Študija potrjuje, da kakovostni standardi TN predstavljajo pomembno trženjsko orodje ne le za posamezno TN, temveč tudi za TD, ki s pomočjo kakovosti TN promovira kakovost destinacije kot celote.

Title:Quality accommodation : the foundation of the overall quality of the destination experience
Abstract:Tourist accommodation is one of the basic infrastructural elements of the secondary offer in a tourism destination. The physical appearance, scope of services and quality level of tourist accommodation are influenced by geographical, social, constructional and economic characteristics of the particular region or tourism destination. Due to these differences, it is difficult to unify the understanding and experience of perceived quality of tourist accommodation. The purpose of the contribution is to present how we can understand and assess the quality of tourism accommodation. Starting from general dimensions of quality in tourism transferred to the context of tourist accommodation, we highlight the special quality standards developed particularly for assessing the quality of tourist accommodation. We also discuss some current issues related to tourist accommodation, e.g. new types of accommodation, the influence of technology on tourist accommodation services, sustainability issues, etc. The study confirms that the quality standards of tourist accommodation present important marketing tools not only for individual accommodation facilities, but also for the tourism destinations, which are also promoted as a whole by the quality of the tourist accommodation in it.
