Abstract:V procesu kovanja optimizacija postavitve predstavlja strategijo ureditve postavitve opreme in materialov na najzmogljivejši in najučinkovitejši možni način. To vključuje upoštevanje dejavnikov, kot so pretok materialov, postavitev opreme in gibanje delavcev.

Title:Simulation of machine arrangement for production planning in Stampal-SB
Abstract:In the forging process, layout optimization refers to the strategy of arranging the layout of equipment and materials in the most efficient and effective way possible. This includes considering factors such as the flow of materials, the placement of equipment, and the movement of workers. One important aspect of layout optimization in forging is the arrangement of equipment. Forging operations typically require a number of different machines and tools, such as hammers and presses. Proper placement of these machines can help to improve the flow of materials and reduce the distance that parts need to be moved. This can help to increase productivity and reduce the risk of defects in the final product. The research is focused on the simulation of the production process in the company Stampal-SB, where they deal with aluminium forging. We were helped by flowcharts and material flow analyses, with the help of which we were able to discover various losses in the forging process itself. These losses mostly occur during various unnecessary manipulations and inter-phase warehouses. If we eliminate these unnecessary activities, we improve the process and speed up production itself. We also looked for bottlenecks in the process.
