Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo se osredotočili na motiviranje zaposlenih na dodatna izobraževanja, saj s tem sledijo trendom na trgu in so posledično konkurenčna ostalim organizacijam. V teoretičnem delu smo uporabili metodo deskripcije (opisovanja) in kompilacije (povzemanja). V raziskavi smo uporabili kvantitativno metodo, torej anketiranje preko anketnega vprašalnika.

Title:Motivation for education in the Municipality of Kranj
Abstract:In this thesis, we focused on motivating employees to take additional training, as this helps them to keep up with market trends and, as a result, to be competitive with other organisations. We have identified three research questions related to motivation for further education in the Municipality of Kranj. In the theoretical part of the thesis, we briefly introduce the concept of education and motivation, and present the 14 most effective ways to motivate employees. In the theoretical part, we used the methods of description (describing) and compilation (summarising). In this study, we used a quantitative method, i. e. a questionnaire survey. The purpose of the research part of the thesis is to study the problem of motivating employees in the Municipality of Kranj, where we surveyed employees. The survey was conducted via the Enka web portal. 43 employees took part in the survey and their results were analysed in the research paper. The survey found that the organisation makes regular efforts to provide on-the-job training and that employees are satisfied with the work they do. They are most motivated to take further training for personal satisfaction, but the biggest obstacle is lack of time. As a solution, we have proposed shorter seminars during working hours.
