Abstract:
Hrana je najpomembnejša dobrina, ki jo človek potrebuje vse življenje. V diplomskem delu bolj natančno obravnavamo razloge in posledice zavržene hrane. Bolj natančno si ogledamo, kako se s to problematiko soočajo slovenska gospodinjstva in kateri so vzroki za masivno odpadno hrano. Poleg vzrokov pa predstavimo tudi ukrepe, s katerimi bi lahko zmanjšali tovrstno problematiko. Poleg proučitve literature izvedemo tudi anketo, v kateri 72 uporabnikov gospodinjstev izprašamo o njihovem ravnanju z odvečno hrano. Ljudje si želijo sprememb na okoljski in finančni ravni, vendar velikokrat ne poznajo načina, kako se lotiti izboljšav.

Title:
Responsible handling of food in households in Slovenia
Abstract:
Food is the most important commodity that a person needs throughout his life. In the thesis, we will discuss the reasons and consequences of wasted food in more detail. We took a closer look at how Slovenian households deal with this problem and what are the causes of massive food waste. In addition to the causes, we also outlined measures that could be used to reduce this type of problem. In addition to studying the literature, we also conducted a survey in which we asked 72 household users about their handling of excess food. People want changes on an environmental and financial level, but they often don't know how to go about making improvements.
