Abstract:Povzetek Uvod: Primarni cilj kardiocerebralnega oživljanja bolnikov v srčnem zastoju z uporabo temeljnih in dodatnih postopkov oživljanja je vzpostavitev spontanega krvnega obtoka. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela, metodo analize, kompilacije, komparacije in sinteze. Iskanje literature smo izvedli v podatkovnih bazah Pubmed, Cochrane Library in Science Direct. S pomočjo hierarhije dokazov smo ovrednotili moč dokazov in izvedli tematsko sintezo skozi analizo in sintezo podatkov.

Title:Post-Resuscitation care
Abstract:Abstract Introduction: The primary goal of cardiocerebral resuscitation of patients in cardiac arrest using basic and additional resuscitation techniques is the restoration of spontaneous blood circulation. Restoration of spontaneous blood circulation is only the first step toward a patient's full recovery after cardiac arrest. It is crucial the medical and nursing teams know the process of post-resuscitation care. The purpose of this study is to investigate the field of post-resuscitation care and determine as well as define an optimal course of a patient's treatment after the restoration of spontaneous blood circulation. Methods: The final work is prepared on the basis of a review of the scientific literature. We used the descriptive method of work, the method of analysis, compilation, comparison and synthesis. Literature search was carried out in Pubmed, cochrane Library and Science Direct databases. Using the evidence hierarchy, we assessed the value of evidence and carried out a thematic synthesis through analysis and data synthesis. Results: This study incorporated 24 articles. We have found, that the current guidelines in combination with reviewed scientific literature give us a good framework of an optimum post-resuscitation care. There are, however, serious doubts and questions regarding the studies carried out so far. Discussion: It would be necessary to further investigate the field of post-resuscitation care and determine parameters that would meet the individual needs of patients, since the causes of cardiac arrest and the needs of patients differ.
Keywords:Keywords: post-resuscitation care, cardiac arrest, hemodynamics, intensive care, hypothermia.
