Abstract:V magistrski nalogi je podan zgodovinski razvoj pohištva, predstavljeni so ikonični kosi omar in znani dizajni otroškega pohištva. Raziskana so čutila in na kratko obrazložena tematika, vezana na otroško dojemanje oblik in barv. Za nadaljnje oblikovanje so raziskani materiali in standardi na področju otroškega pohištva in omar. Predstavljene so pravljice in njihov vpliv na predšolske otroke. Izpostavljena je slovenska ljudska pravljica z naslovom Bela kača s kronico, ki je služila kot inspiracija za oblikovano kolekcijo shranjevalnih enot pohištva v otroški sobi. Izdelana sta inspiracijska panoja izbrane pravljice ter vzdušja otroške sobe. Kolekcija pohištva v prostoru je predstavljena v tehniki kolaž kot kombinacija prostoročne skice in 3D modelov, narejenih v računalniškem programu Fusion 360.

Title:Fairytale closet – Development of a collection of storage units for the children’s room based on an analysis of the Slovenian folk fairy tale
Abstract:The master's thesis presents the historical development of furniture, iconic pieces of wardrobes and famous designs of children's furniture. The senses are explored, and themes related to children's perception of shapes and colours are briefly explained. Materials and standards in the field of children's furniture and wardrobes are explored for further design. Fairy tales and their influence on pre-school children are presented. A Slovenian folk tale entitled The White Snake with a Crown is highlighted and used as inspiration for the design of a collection of storage units in the children's room. Inspirational panels of the selected fairy tale and the atmosphere of the children's room are produced. The collection of furniture in the room is presented in a collage technique as a combination of freehand sketches and 3D models made in the computer program Fusion 360.
