Title:Analiza uporabe orodij managementa v slovenskih storitvenih in proizvodnih organizacijah

Abstract:V današnjem času so organizacije izpostavljene negotovostim na trgu in spreminjanjem zunanjega okolja, kar lahko pomembno vpliva na njihovo delovanje in vedenje. Pri tem si lahko pomagajo z uporabo managementskih orodij, katerih razširjenost uporabe pripisujemo predvsem pospešeni digitalizaciji, novim vrstam tehnologije in spremenjenim pogojem delovanja ter posledično želji po ohranjanju konkurenčnega položaja na trgu. Na pogostost uporabe managementskih orodij pomembno vpliva tudi pandemija Covid-19, ki je v veliki meri spremenila delovanje podjetij, predvsem z vidika digitalizacije in prilagajanja na spremembe, ki jih je prinesla. Magistrsko delo je sestavljeno iz dveh delov in sicer prvi del predstavlja teoretična izhodišča, drugi pa je empiričen, v katerem smo izvedli raziskavo glede pogostosti uporabe managementskih orodij v organizacijah. V prvem delu so opredeljena teoretična izhodišča managementa, hierarhične ravni management, izzivi in znanje managementa ter teoretična izhodišča managementskih orodij. Vsako managementsko orodje smo tudi predstavili in opredelili. Managementska orodja se v organizaciji uporabljajo z namenom, da managerjem pomagajo pri izvajanju procesov in doseganju ciljev. Služijo tudi kot pomoč pri obvladovanju spreminjajočih se trgov, posledično pa organizaciji zagotovijo konkurenčni položaj, kar izboljšuje njeno uspešnost. Poznamo različna managementska orodja, v osnovi pa jih glede na njihove karakteristike ločimo v tri večje skupine in sicer osnovna, razvita in ostala orodja. Drugi del naloge predstavlja terenska raziskava, kjer nas zanima pogostost uporabe managementskih orodij glede na štiri dejavnike oz. kazalnike, ki smo jih določili in sicer: panoga podjetja, starost zaposlenih, stopnja izobrazbe zaposlenih in položaj zaposlenih v organizaciji. Pri tem smo podatke zbirali na osnovi anketnega vprašalnika, obdelali pa smo jih s parametričnimi statističnimi testi. Ugotovili smo, da se pogostost uporabe managementskih orodij v storitvenih in proizvodnih organizacijah razlikuje, kar je posledica dejavnosti, s katero se ukvarjajo in primernosti določenih orodij za posamezno panogo. Mlajše generacije predvsem uporabljajo novejša managementska orodja, kjer je poudarek na tehnologiji in oglaševanju na družbenih omrežjih. Pri uporabi managementskih orodij obstaja logična povezava s stopnjo izobrazbe uporabnikov, saj managementska orodja pogosteje uporabljajo zaposleni z zaključeno visokošolsko izobrazbo, s čimer zasedajo managerski položaj v organizaciji. Na osnovi ugotovitev smo podali tudi predloge, kako izboljšati pogostost uporabe managementskih orodij, in za katera področja je to najbolj smiselno in uporabno.

Title:An analysis of management tools usage in slovenian service and production organisations
Abstract:Nowadays, organisations are exposed to uncertainties in market and changes in their external environment. These situacions can affect the performance of organisation, which can be improved by using different kinds of management tools. The prevelence of their usage is attributed to accelerated digitalization, technology and changed conditions of work processes in organisations. Consequently the organisations have the desire to maintain a competitive position in the market. The frequency of usage of management tools is also affected to Covid-19 pandemic, which has changed operation of the company, especially because of digitalisation and adaption to the consequences of digitalisation. The master thesis consists of two parts. The first part represents the theorethical background of our topic. The second part is empirical. In this part we conducted a research of management tools usage in Slovenian companies. In the first part are defined theorethical points of management, management hierarchy, challenges and knowledge of management. In this part are also defined theorethical points of management tools. We have presented each management tool and defined in which group of tools it belongs to. Management tools are used in organisation in order to help managers to implement the process and achive the goals of organisation. They also cope with the changing markets and consequently provide the competitive position of organsiation, which improves its business performance. There are known different types of management tools, but basically they are divided to three major groups, according to their characteristics. These groups are basic, developed and other management tools. The second part is a research. We were researching the frequency of management tools usage according to four indicators: branch of organisation, age of employees, level of education of employees and the position of an employee in the organisation. We have collected data in the basis of a survey and processed with parametric statistical tests. We found out that service organisations use different types od management tools than the production ones, which is a consequence of the activity of organisation and the suitability of certain management tool for a particular branch. Younger generations usually use newer management tools, which are based in technology and advertising on social networks. Management tools are more often used by employees with a university degree which have a managerial position in the company. Based on our findings we gave some suggestions on how to improve the frequency of management tools usage and for which parts are these tools the most meaningful and useful.
