Abstract:
V diplomskem delu se osredotočimo na popularne metode skrivanja podatkov in nekatere metode odkrivanja podatkov v digitalnih slikah. Podrobno klasificiramo posamezno vejo in podrobneje spoznamo določene metode. Na podlagi nekaterih primerov prav tako izvedemo implementacijo s programskim jezikom Python in na kratko analiziramo in primerjamo implementirane metode. Na podlagi primerjave lahko sklepamo, da so nekatere tehnike skrivanja in odkrivanja podatkov primernejše za določene slikovne formate kot druge, kar smo tudi dokazali s kriteriji za določanje kakovosti slike. Veliko metod steganografije in stegoanalize je tako še vedno v razvoju. S pomočjo različnih raziskav smo našli veliko metod, ki predstavljajo nadgradnjo ali prilagajanje že obstoječih metod, vendar niso vedno najučinkovitejše.

Title:
Implementation and comparison of steganography and steganalysis methods
Abstract:
This thesis presents some of most popular steganography methods and some of steganalysis methods. We make a classification of steganography and steganalysis methods and we get to know some of them in more detail. The thesis also includes implementetion of some methods in Python, a short analysis and comparison of some of the implemented methods. Therefore we can say, that some of the techniques are better for some image formats than the others. We have proven that with the help of image quality assessment criteria. A lot of steganography and steganalysis methods are still in development. We came across many sources, that write about improvements and adapting of these methods, even though that does not mean that these methods are more efficient.
