Title:Primerjava metod rekonstrukcije 3D objektov iz sintetičnih slik in videoposnetkov operacijskih posegov : diplomsko delo

Abstract:V diplomskem delu primerjamo metode 3D rekonstrukcij na sintetičnih videoposnetkih. V ta namen smo ustvarili 3D sceno laparoskopskega operacijskega posega in iz njega naredili videoposnetek. Nato smo nad sintetičnimi videoposnetki pognali metode za 3D rekonstrukcijo. Dobljene 3D modele smo primerjali z izvornimi in tako ocenili uspešnost uporabljenih algoritmov. V diplomskem delu najprej predstavimo uporabljene algoritme rekonstrukcije. Nato opišemo postopek izdelave modela ter implementacije ogrodja za testiranje. Sledi testiranje uspešnosti rekonstrukcije. Na koncu rezultate analiziramo in predstavimo možne razširitve. Povprečno odstopanje rekonstruiranih 3D modelov po metriki Hausdorffove razdalje znaša 14,86 %. Ugotovili smo, da na uspešnost rekonstrukcije najbolj vpliva lokacija laparoskopa in tekstura modela.

Title:Comparison of methods for reconstruction of 3D objects from synthetic images and videos of surgery
Abstract:In the thesis, comparison of the 3D reconstructions methods on synthetic images and videos is presented. For this purpose, we created a 3D scene of laparoscopic surgery and made a video from it. We then ran 3D reconstruction methods over the synthetic videos. The obtained 3D models were compared with the original ones and thus the success of the used algorithms was evaluated. In the thesis, we first present the used reconstruction algorithms. We then describe the process of making the model and implementing the testing framework. Reconstruction performance testing follows. Finally, we analyze the results and present possible extensions. The average deviation of the reconstructed 3D models according to the Hausdorff distance metric is 14.86%. We found that the success of the reconstruction is most influenced by the location of the laparoscope and the texture of the model.
