Title:Energetska alternativa razogljičenja energetskega sektorja proizvodnje električne energije Republike Slovenije : diplomsko delo

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava pregled in analizo uradnih listin Pariškega podnebnega sporazuma, celovitega nacionalnega energetskega in podnebnega načrta Republike Slovenije, listin podjetij ELES, Borzen in Agencije za energijo ter listin za izgradnjo Jedrske elektrarne Krško in daljnovoda z Madžarsko. V prvem delu diplomskega dela sta predstavljeni listini Pariškega podnebnega sporazuma in celovitega nacionalnega energetskega in podnebnega načrta Republike Slovenije, ki opredeljujeta smernice, cilje in ukrepe na področju energetske unije. Ti analizi sta pomembni za določitev alternativ proizvodnje električne energije, če zaprejo Termoelektrarno Šoštanj. Sledi analiza treh alternativ zagotavljanja električne energije z zmanjšanim ogljičnim odtisom: izgradnje nove Jedrske elektrarne Krško, zakup električne energije na tujih trgih in izgradnja novih proizvodnih kapacitet obnovljivih virov energije. Najustreznejša alternativa zaprtja Termoelektrarne Šoštanj je izgradnja nove Jedrske elektrarne Krško zaradi najboljše energetske, okoljske in ekonomske upravičenosti. V osmem poglavju analiziramo ekonomske primerjave proizvodnje električne energije s programskim orodjem RETScreen.

Title:Energy alternative to decarbonisation of the energy sector of electricity production in the Republic of Slovenia
Abstract:The thesis of my diploma deals with the review and analysis of the official documents of the Paris Climate Agreement, the comprehensive National energy and climate plan of the Republic of Slovenia. Documents of the companies ELES, Borzen and the Energy Agency and the documents for the construction of the Krško Nuclear Power Plant and the Hungarian power line. The first part of the diploma thesis presents the documents of the Paris Climate Agreement and the comprehensive national energy and climate plan of the Republic of Slovenia, which define the guidelines, goals and measures in the field of the energy union. These analyses are important for determining alternatives of electricity production in the event of the closure of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant. The following is an analysis of three alternatives to produce electricity with a reduced carbon footprint: the construction of the new Krško Nuclear Power Plant, the lease of electricity on foreign markets and the construction of new production capacities for renewable energy sources. The most appropriate alternative to the closure of the Šoštanj Thermal Power Plant is the construction of a new Krško Nuclear Power Plant, due to the best energy, environmental and economic justification. The eighth chapter is followed by an analysis of the economic comparison of electricity production using the software tool RETScreen.
